Talking [Q] P4Wifi Stuck at Boot Animation *Fixed*

Hey,

I was running AOKP Build 38 and suddenly my tablet stopped getting past it's boot animation.

I used clockworkmod to wipe:
-system
-data
-cache

And re-flashed B38, but it still got stuck at the boot animation.

I tried switching back to AOKP B37 and to Milestone 5, but it made no difference.

I can flash and format with ClockworkMod and I can connect Odin.

What should I do to fix my tablet?

Thanks,
ANkh

That sounds like a good plan, any chance you could point me to a more detailed guide?

Try this thread, do the unroot process then just reroot. That should give you a nice clean and fresh install to start from.

I just did this the other week coming from an ICS rom.

Thumbs up Working Again

I flashed the latest Version of the stock firmware from http://www.sammobile.com for the US.

The same problem happend with that firmware, until I ran the factory restore from Samsung's Recovery (which had no replaced ClockworkMod) this recovery formatted the the internal storage and allowed me to boot!

So it looks like the problem was some sort of screwed up partition on the internal storage all along.

Now my problem is that I'm in work and I forgot my usb cable. Also when this tablet is running US Software it cannot see the wifi where I work.

Thanks for your help guys.
