Default CM7 not installing system apps

Hi there. I recently installed the ROM miracle v4 (a CM7 mod) on my galaxy ace, the install went fine and everything seemed to be working perfectly. It's a bare bones ROM, so it doesn't have all the usual system apps I need in it. This is where my problem starts. I downloaded the package of system apps from the mod thread, but when I tried installing them, it says they were not installed. All other apks and apps from Google Play install just fine. Any help is appreciated, I'm stumped.

Please the apps in /system/app
Change app permissions to rw-r--r--
Change ownership to both root (0)

Firstly you need a file manager that can access your root folder (/) , do you have one ?
