1. download 7zip (google it, free) and open up "S_OFF_4EXT_RECOVERY_OTA_SHOOTER_U_ICS_35_S_HT C_Eu rope_3.28.401.1-1.20.401.8_release_2627623qpt0ma8rnwgn0qq.zip" with 7zip, and go to
META-INF/com/google/android/
and extract "updater-script" to your desktop. Be sure it's not extracted as .TXT and DO NOT OPEN IT WITH NOTEPAD
2. Download Notepad++ (google it, it's free) and open up the "updater-script" from the desktop.
Comment out the lines, by putting # in front of them:
3. then go to File=>Saves As=>Name: updater-scipt Type: All types (*.*)
Now go back to your "META-INF/com/google/android/" in the 7zip and delete the existing "updater-script", and the put inside the new one from the desktop
4. push the zip to your SD card now and install it from 4ext recovery (and don't forget to install firmware as described in the first post)
***NOTE: be sure to use 7zip and Notepad++ because they don't seem to corrupt the files by manipulating with them as classical Notepad does***

Going to test the battery usage now, fully charged from 11am.
