Hi! Do you need a really fast ICS ROM? CM Lite by maxio1998 v1 Beta is perfect for you!

It's an AOSP ROM based on CM9 RC1 for Sony Xperia arc/arc S. It has a lot of unuseful apps deleted and that's why it's so fast. ROM is dedicated to people who love fast and smooth Android without taking care of awesome MIUI visual look and battery drain. The kernel used here is very stable and overclockable FXP 126. With FXP you can overclock up to 1,6 GHz. Governors available:

• conservative
• ondemand
• userspace
• powersave
• interactive (i am using that one)
• perfomance (perfext for benchmarks)

IT'S A BETA, BUT SHOULD WORK AS A STABLE RELEASE

ROM is dedicated for Xperia arc S, but it will work on arc also. Only processor's frequency is set up to 1 GHz, so after flashing the ROM overclock your CPU as you want.

How To install Lite CM by maxio1998?

1. Download ROM, kernel and Gapps
2. Flash kernel via fastboot
3. Go to Recovery
4. Make backup (optionally)
5. Wipe data and cache
6. Install ROM and Gapps
7. Reboot and enjoy Lite CM by maxio1998

So at the moment this is just CM9 with some of the apps removed and without any tweaks? [

Not really. It has some modifiations and improvements like turned on hardware rendering or new boot animation. In next releases I am planning to accelerate GPU with modificated Adreno drivers.

This is just sad! Trying to market a rip-off by taking on the FXP team's hard work.

Deleting apps and adding (wow) a new boot animation? :eek: That sure must have taken a lot of effort, huh?

This is pathetic on so many different levels.

I don't totally agree with you considering it being open source, thus adding or tweaking options should be consider legit. I have seen a lot of members using DoomLoRD, Jimbo77 and others sources and made them into their own ROM or Kernel without too many people complaining about it. Perhaps something good will come out of this, if we give the guy a chance to continue? But posting a link for donations or neglecting to mention the original developers is as you express it, pathetic or at least shamefull.

THis is actually a fantastic rom for me because i wanted cm to be compatible with doom kernel and i got it ... thanx to u maxio
u r a gr8 developer just stop developing for jelly sandwich for a while and continue on this cmon man make this smoother cause it lags like hell for now and im staying with it plzz i beg u man cmon
