Tablet Mac OS X on Surface?

well none of us exactly know yet, but will the surface be compatible of running OS X? it's a powerful tablet and it probably could handle the graphics and the OS, but it just depends on the processor, so would it?

Pro. Kinda tricky. There will be no drivers for touch screen probably. I don't know if keyboard works on simple USB. Plus, there probably won't be motherboard support, which would kill battery life. Oh. Surface uses UEFI. Mac OS X also uses UEFI. But Surface UEFI is lockdown, so it would be hard to trick Mac OS X into thinking that Surface is a Mac. In addition, installing Mac OS X in most cases is illegal. (Unless you are an Apple Engineer). Simple answer is no.

As a Macbook Pro owner, I have to ask: why in heck would you want that bloated, tacky-ass OSX on Microsoft's beautiful tablet with its magnificent, modern UI?

Once Windows 8 tablets start shipping, I'm ditching Apple forever. Sold off my iPhone for a WP7 last year (recently upgraded to a Titan II, also), sold my iPad a month ago (thank god, right before Apple announced they were ****ing over iPad 1 owners), and I'm looking forward to ditching my Macbook Pro, primarily because of OSX and its ugly, tacky, skewmorphism bull****.

+1, I keep wondering why people want to be able to run OSX/Android on a Microsoft tablet... PLEASE BUY AN iPAD OR ANDROID TABLET IF YOU PREFER THAT OS.
