Ok, light/proximity sensors have been fixed... please wait 30 minutes from time of this upload.

The issue was described above, where a GP2A optical sensor was being used rather than TAOS.

The fixed load will be in the June 29th version currently being uploaded.

I fixed it by updating the kernel and adding the stock 2.3 version(!) of the sensors library file. All other sensors remained the same. Tested with the awesome Android Sensor Box app.

That's the app I was using when I discovered the anomaly.[COLOR="Silver"]

Sorry guys, I will need to re-upload the ROM. Looks like the build did not pick up my new files. Sorry for the inconvenience. I'll hope to let you know when it's ready. Should be ready to upload in a few minutes.

@jsr84: Looks like I even forgot to make the last one public!

OK ROM (June 29th build) should be there in 25 minutes.

I have flashed it and confirmed it has the correct sensors.

thanks for this amazing work dsixda.

i'm less lucky with the latest build than other testers. the device is rebooting on it's own either during the CM loading or once i'm in.

i did forget to wipe data & cache the 1st time i flash but i, wipe & reflash before going any further.

if you have any hint of what i can do...

I got in the same trouble. The fix is a little scary but works.

- I took my I757M and put it under my laptop where the hot spot it.

- Played a game so it would get really hot

- When the device it toasty I push VolDown + Pwd

- Bang! Back into download mode..

(The explanation is the the device as an heat protection that will override the device into download mode, I discovered that on my GT-I9000)
