Thumbs up RemICS-UX-v1.2GPSFix

I just threw together a CWM flashable zip with the official CM9 Vibrant GPS files and a simple gps.conf setting the default NTP server set to us.pool.ntp.org. You will get super fast locks and great accuracy when using this fix with either the stock Devil kernel or possibly even better after deep sleep GPS results with SubZero Build #159. Patrick will you please add these GPS files in to the next version of RemICS-UX. I would also recommend using SubZero Build #159 kernel for speed and GPS and you can remove the system\lib\modules folder since all the modules are statically in the kernel itself. Thank you for making this long awaited Touchwiz 4 hybrid rom!

Does that file have the GPS wrapper?

FE try the mediafire link I just posted. For some reason the attachment 404's even after deleting and uploading it again. The mediafire link will work perfect.

FE that GPSFix I posted doesn't have the wrapper.

I just flashed v1.2 with SZ #159 VC and GPSFix and GPS locks within seconds down to 4m inside house with wifi off. This rom is very well thrown together and has super color pop with Voodoo Color with gamma turned down and colors turned up. Is there no way to move the dock icons on the TW4 Launcher? The launcher is surprisingly responsive but I had to go back to Apex Launcher which is way smoother. All in all this is a nice looking, colorful, clean rom with cute nature sounds. Thank goodness for the CM9 base making the touch of Touchwiz run as fast as possible.

Yes. Just put the app on your home screen, and move it to the dock from there.

so far so good! Living the look and speed, the boot animation is pretty cool too. had no problems installing coming from latest iczen. Did my usual wipe data, wipe cache and dalvich, format system and then flash. Auto brightness seems buggy but has been every ics ROM.
