Ive seen a few post with the same problem, i was glad to see it cause i thought it was just my tab, Ive tried everything to fix this problem from reinstalling to deleting it totally and reinstalling it over and over. I really love this rom and kept trying to get it working but nothing seems to work, can we try finding a sulution, if theres anything i can help you with to get this GREAT ROM working

WIFI FIX

Hi stumbled upon this accidentally, but now the wifi is working and controllable;

*make sure your backed up *

*remove sim card and external sd*


1) go to settings/security/lockscreen/screen lock and select none

2)connect your tab to your pc and boot into recovery

3)find the rom .zip select it (keep the usb cable plugged into a working pc)

4)your tab should power off now,unplug the usb cable then go back into recovery

5)wipe cache, dalvik cache and data, then select the rom .zip

6)select reboot system from recovery

7)start completing startup wizard when it says no sim card, select skip or next, when it shows the wifi select screen, turn wifi on and touch scan

8)select your network and login to your gmail account

Dear All in most of these rom 1- [ROM][4.1.1] CyanogenMod 10 Preview [Build 2] 2- ROM][MTD][Kernel][Port] PARANOIDANDROID 1.5 Released! 3- ICS ROMS for all Variants!][Kernel][MTD] Gummy 1.3.0 & AOKP Milestone 6 the wifi is not working can you kindly give the magic solution i am living in middle east,Iraq, i have flashed my SGT7 with all the above Roms but the WiFi is NOT WORKING not going ON and hence not searching as it is still Off never goes ON HOW DO I ACTIVATE IT TO GO ON.my tab is sgt7 gsm i used the p1 for flashing.

try to install a widget for wifi I've used one of them in the past for similar issue

This Rom is perfect for our tab as you can get the perfect dpi and UI. Just a shame that PA didn't release all of their ICS sources so had to port from nexus s and i didn't want to do decompiling of all their frameworks to get it and compare. any how i saw a post that they where going release the JB source all when CM10 starts their nightlies. hopefully soon! so i can get building!

Ok, to everyone who is wondering about JB and so forth. Someone on the PA team (not quite sure who) said something about releasing the sources when CM10 is in their 'nightlies' stage so may not be long i don't know when that is unfortunately . sure i can port it from the nexus s but here is a few reasons why i am waiting. 1. It takes more time to port roms without the source if you are doing multiple as u have to start from scratch every time. 2. The source will be specifically built for our device meaning i dont have to edit lot of lines in the frameworks. 3. The JB sources where not released long ago and The TE4M is working hard to get it to work nice and smooth with our tab and PA have a new version like every week (or less) with big improvements.
Anyways i hope that cleared up the whole JB thing
