Hey, Clark. I have a request. I'm moving onto your ROM here for a few reasons after using Blazer, but here's what I'm really REALLY missing.


A way to disable the USB connection sound. That annoyed me from the day I bought this phone, and was ever so happy to find a ROM first day of owning it that got rid of it. I can't find any threads on how to remove it (I'd be willing to do it myself). I'll keep looking... but until then... consider having it as an option? I'd be extremely thankful.

Use root explorer and go to /system/media/audio/ui click mount r/w You will find 2 files Dock.ogg and Undock.ogg Rename to 1Dock.ogg and 1Undock.ogg

Then copy and paste the files Dock.ogg and Undock.ogg in this link to /system/media/audio/ui

There is also a sound file called Charger_Connection.ogg in /system/media/audio/ui that also makes a sound when you connect to a charger or computer. Rename it 1Charger_Connection.ogg and replace with Charger_Connection.ogg in my link.

ok i found out wat was causing my android system to drain my battery. Something called gsiff_daemon. Does anyone know wat it is and how i can fix the drain?

Enjoy your weekend Clark. I'm at work for the first time since changing to version 1 and am very happily surprised. Roaming is working correctly for the first time since I got the GS3. Outside the hotel in the worst location and have roaming with data.
Don't know what you did on this version but thanks. No warning for roaming either.

Did you ever wipe the map data in your application manager or fix permissions in recovery?

Interesting read.... those reporting insane battery consumption by Maps and/or Android OS should consider this...
