here is a little thing about electronics. You cannot manufacture them exactly the same each time. every semiconductor manufactured will have slightly properties, thermal dissipation, electrical conductivity, resistance, etc.. so these small differences can make them stable at different voltages and frequencies of oscillations. If your cpu is unable to run at a particular clock speed and voltage, there is nothing you can do about it. Its a manufacturing thing. When a cpu is manufactured, its made sure that it runs stable at a reference frequency. They cant make sure that is fits every users desire.

Its just how it is. There is nothing you can do about it and you cant blame the manufacturer. If you see how incredibly close the transistors are on your cpu, you will be shocked as of how they do it in the first place. You can read about it if you like. Ill just give you a few hints to search. Electron bean lithography and photolithography. Happy searching

Ya, i agree. Im having same issue too but i just posted it without asking to fix. Caused no one else having this earlier, so i assumed its my hardware instead fuss's kernel issue.

Environments factor is very important for an electronics device.

i have rev 3 (v 71)

never had any problem like reboot. can run at 150 MHz or 1350 MHz without problem. purchased last feb 2012. think now is good time to verify this rev version 'issue'
perhaps fuss132 can put up a poll maybe

Rev 3 (v7l) for me as well. Purchased in May 2012.

1350MHz works, but I don't really see the point in OC, as the power consumption increases significantly for the additional 150MHz. Personally, I don't need the additional speed if the drawback is less battery life.

So, here come my personal UV settings, where I got the device to be stable (set min/max limit to one frequency / under-volt /run stability test / if it crashes, adjust UV):

1200MHz: 1175mV
1008MHz: 1075mV
800MHz: 975mV
600MHz: 875mV
300MHz: 750mV (min limit)
150MHz: 750mV (min limit)

At 1350MHz I got some strange results, because it was stable in the Test @ 1275mV, but crashed in real-world. But I would attribute that more to the combination of OC+UV+hotplug governor - so I reverted to 1200MHz and am happy.
750mV at 150MHz and 300MHz result from the fact that you cannot UV to less than 750mV for any given frequency (well, you can type in a lower number in setCPU, but it won't have any effect).
Subsequently, at least for my device, under-clocking to 150MHz does not yield any improvement over 300MHz, as the voltage level can be set to match...I would assume that @ 150MHz voltage level could be as low as 650~675mV...
