Its not the rom...the devs have to update the apps to work with new builds....HBO doesn't work with jelly bean either and some other apps act funny too

So guys...what's the concensus on kernels with this JB build? I just flashed two days ago and still running stock kernel. I'm wondering what are some of the advantages of running a different kernel? Are there any drawbacks like things not working? What are like the 2 top kernels to run if so?

Also, with that said, if I wanted to go back to the stock kernel after flashing a Dev's kernel, an nandroid backup would do just that right? just wanna confirm.

Thanks for any other information regarding kernels.

I haven't messed with JB kernels, stock is working just fine for me, but the easiest way to restore the stock kernel is just to reflash the stock ROM. You can clear cache and dalvik but you don't have to clear data or anything else. Faster than restoring a Nandroid.

You don't need to nandroid to get back to the stock kernel you can just reflash the stock kernel. I'm using the Franco r215 kernel and everything is working great. Custom kernels can improve battery life and performance. I'm running at 1804mhz on this Franco kernel.
