[Q] SG I9100G rooted unsuccessfully updated to ICS 4.0.3 and USB cannot connect to PC

my android version is 2.3.6 and baseband version is I9100GDZKL3

I try to update software directly from my phone,it is download completely and phone start to reboot and install.The installation is fail after the phone reboot.

Now i download Samsung Kies to my pc,but my phone now cannot connect to pc via usb.

what can i do to settle all the problem above?

what software did you try to update to?

can your phone switch on as per normal?

after installing kies, did you reboot the pc?

I having this problem too..anybody please help..

Try booting into download mode and connect to pc. see if odin recognizes your device.
If it does then download a stock firmware from neerajganga's thread in this forum and flash it through Odin

And btw. post in the Q & A section next time

Yes try rebooting into download mode with small Jig , i bought one for a few dollars..

Then u should be able to use Oldin and flash on a new Rom , i dont like Kies much.. i have Bricked my Ph on Purpose just to show myself how easy a recover could be , under 20 min work with correct tools.. keep readig on here dude u will get it back up and running for sure..
