It is better than Samsung Galaxy because :-
1. Upgradable to ICS
2. Front Facing Camera
3. Better Screen
It is not better than Samsung Galaxy Y because
1. A very big community out there waiting for it

Choose with this in mind

If you like modding phones then go for Samsung Galaxy Y otherwise this is a champ.

i flashed rooted rom of karbonn a7 with spice's stock recovery.
i think karbonn a7's cwm recovery would work

Step 1:
Download the ROM from the following link: Download

Step 2:
Copy the downloaded update.zip file to the memory card.

Step 3:
Power off the phone (note the battery should be above 50%) press and hold up the volume + power key,Until the recovery screen appears red, then let go.

Step 4:
Select apply update from sdcard (in the recovery screen, use the volume key up to move up and down, press and hold the power key to select)

Step 5:
Select the file update.zip
Wait till your ROM file gets installed

Step 6: Select Reboot now

Above is tested and verified by user: rjunraj (Thanks)
The below 3 keys get set randomly.
One can use key mapper. (market / play store)
Above ROM is for the Karbonn A7. But due to the similarities of the handsets can be used here.

this phone is very good at gaming
i m enjoying assasins creed,ftontline commando,riptide hp,raging thunder 2 ,tank hero,helium boy and temple run
buttery smooth perfomance
i will be trying batman (1.7gb) today and then tell u if it works or not

u can also play nes roms like mario,contra,adventure island and many more with help of emulaters
