I just want to say thanks for everyone that's been putting their time and effort to make this a reality for the LG-C800. I've been watching this for a couple of months now...

There is only one problem that I am facing...

Ever since I flashed the debloat version of the stock rom, I cannot recieve text messages I can only send them out. I went to the tmobile store to give me a new sim card (thinking thats what it was) but the problem still occurs. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Would love to get cyanongenmod running asap since I dislike how slow the stock rom is :\

EDIT: I also tried emptying my SMS cache and also cleared all my messages...still doesn't work.

Default Can't wait

I've been following this thread for a few weeks now...and I can't wait for your rom chui. I would definitely love to help, but unfortunately I have no experience in building roms. But I just want to thank you for all your hard work. I greatly appreciate it!

Hold off on that until CM9 comes out for the device.

Big props to Chui for the work.

DONATE TO ME
I think the issue with the texts is probably something to do with the removal of Carrier IQ, since normally I believe it does have the ability to screen text messages and decide whether they are commands for CIQ or texts for you. We mainly use Google Voice though, so it's not really a huge problem for us.

I've just created (from scratch) keylayouts and keychar maps for the physical keyboard, and I figured out the correct I2C GPIO pins for the speaker/headphone amp... so as soon as I figure out what is causing the graphics to crash, I will release an alpha! Kali- who is the device maintainer for the LG MyTouch is helping me figure it out, so hopefully it won't be too long now.

Do you have enough space on your SD card?

Default CWM Recovery lg c800

alright, maybe i did something wrong again, but i installed cwm and everything worked fine up until when i rebooted my phone, i'm unable to see any text on my phone. i can see the icons on my phone, but no text. i can open up my text messages, but can't see who text me, nor what their text says... and when i open up my contact list, i see that i have contacts, but i can't see any names associated with them. any help?
