CM7 Enable Data Problem

In CM7, when we tick 'Data Enabled', then phone does not connect to data, neither '3G' or 'H' or 'E'. It never connects for hours.

Even after reboot, there is 99 % guarantee that data won't be enabled.

Please some expert make something to solve this problem.

All CM7 users, please comment continuously, only then this thread will come to the notice of developer, or anybody who can solve this problem.

I also use mebitek CM7.

But my point is from the day I flashed my very first CM7 ROM, the problem started. Before my first CM7 ROM, I was having Stock based Emanon ROM, and there was not any problem.

I think CM7 ROM, changes something and because of it, the problem is persistent in any other ROM I flash.

saying cm7 is pretty generic, which cm7 do you have? i also run cm7 and i have no such problem

I also face this problem on my mebitek v1.2 many times but everything works fine after reboot..

I'm having that same problem, after flashing with 7.2.0 my girlfriend's Galaxy Mini Data plan won't work, then I added the APN manually and didn't work either. Has somebody fixed this? Thanks in advance.

I am also using the mebitek 7.1. I have encountered the problem once or twice, but it usually disappears after reboot. It usually occurs when I start and stop data frequently in a small amount of time.

If all roms have this problem, have you checked with some other mobile in the area? The problem might be on their end.

Also what is your base Rom? Some other users who installed on 2.3.4 base have experienced the same problem. So if you are on 2.3.4, first flash the latest firmware using odin and then try to install the rom.

I experienced same problem in almost every rom itried, some times reboot helped but was annoying. Thenafter several tricks itried this. Went to titanium (free) , go to batch, click to clear cache from user apps,system apps, then wait .. I tell u. 9 out of 10 times it worked. Why? I don't know. This is just a harmless suggest .. though.

Need reboot? Simply fly mode then disable

all CM7 rom can't detect automatically my apn configuration i must add manually? Just the Cyanmobile by squadzone can detect automatically my apn configuraiton.
