Currys uk preorders only

Hi if anyone else here has ordered from the Currys store in uk please discuss it here shipping and dispatch confirmations etc so far Currys is stating 19th July as arrival date.

I ordered from Currys.

Mine is still showing as

Delivery within 3-5 working days Thu 19/07

Got it at a bargain price of £189.99 Delivered

I'm hoping they'll deliver faster than 3-5 days

I don't see 3-5 days, just expected 19/7.

Mine doesn't, ordered on the 28th, Currys better not screw this up

Mine also says "Your items will be dispatched as soon as stock is available".

Ordered mine on the 1st of July. Also got the £10 discount

I don't know why but I have 2 nexus 7 tablets showing on my order page. One of them is showing the delivery date and the other is showing the same thing as your picture. I have only been charged once though. I ordered on the 29th

The same thing happened when I ordered the Xoom from them.

Thought I'd just check mine. and I have a second 'ghost' order.. (


They've taken the money already for the order I have e-mail confirmation of and it's delivery status is "Your items will be dispatched as soon as stock is available"

The second order (it's # is 96 on from the other order) shows as "Delivery within 3-5 working days Thu 19/07"

Bit miffed they took the money from my account so early, and obviously might have the hassle of having to return a bogus order..

Still £189 (and I whopping £2.37 tracking in quidco) is good enough, I can always let a mate have one at cost , £189 ain't bad..

Plus I have a Google order I made within a couple of hours of launch, I'm hoping that comes next week!
