yup, lil different, but confirm jut ignorance on my part. Access internal storage through /data/media all good. This recovery is really friggin nasty on this tab. Splits the dir and what's in folder really nicely. I the back button on dock is operational, if someone was bored i wonder is the keyboard would type.....? haha

There is no up a level tab for /data once you select it on the external or internal menus . To go back to / selections you have to clear the mounts and remount. i've re-downloaded 2.2 and reflashed it several times and it's always the same.

When I go to the Install screen and use the radio buttons there, what happens for me is that whether I choose Internal or External, it comes up where I left it last. I am able in either case to use the 'Up a Level' tab to go all the way back to /, without messing with mounts or anything. If I leave them at /, then that's where it will be when I come back to it. I just got in the habit of using /sdcard/Downloads for internal and the / of the external for easy locations to put zip files. Then I can just leave each of radio button choices on the corresponding directory and not have to worry unless I need a file that is actually in some other folder.

Thanks for the help, that's exactly what i've been doing. Was wondering if anyone was missing the up a level selection in /data or if it was showing in theirs. I've flashed my device so many times, with so many different roms it might be time to do a nvflash to clear out all the gremlins.

Hey,

I noticed you nuked the history in your repo. That's making it tough for me to review the changes you ended up making to get it to boot.

I was originally trying to port twrp to the tf101 but then changed jobs and got engaged, so I didn't have the time.

Where I left off I was unable to get twrp to boot. I was stuck at some bootloader screen asking if I wanted to reset data or boot Linux (Android). Also, if your changes are going to be merged into the main line, we'll need the history anyway so we can pull your commits.

Hmm, okay, I'll refresh the git the next days.

1. To get it to boot, you just need to use my device tree at github (it's already up to date) with the special prebuilt kernel image included (size=3.1 mb) ...

2. To fix bugs, you only need one file, the gui/devices/1280x800/res/ui.xml ...
all my bugfixes are there.

3. Will highlight what I did in git for you.

Nice, thanks. I figured it was to do with the kernel, but I couldn't find a better kernel to use. Is your kernel source posted too with the changes? Were you basically just shrinking it down?

Any reason why wipe battery stats was removed?

Is there any chance some talented dev can port/update this for the TF101. Would love to see it.

From earlier in this thread, it sounds like it might not be too hard. Just have to start with replacing the ui.xml file inside with the one rayman33 provided and making the appropriate edits to it and rezipping it and placing it in the proper directory. I'll take a look when I get time.
