I don't know if this is a bug but.sometimes my iconia becomes really slow and i know that benchmarks don't matter, but quadrant score goes down to 934.
then after a while my tablet becomes smooth again and quadrant scores go back up to 3000. anyone have this?
my cpu settings are set to 1400-216 performance

Of course I'm not the dev and this isn't my thread, but when ROM's are alpha and even beta I'd advise not posting about speeds unless it's like unusable slow in that case let him know. Especially when comparing quadrants.
As for your slow down it sounds just like the CPU isn't ramping up at the appropriate times and is, to me , a kernel issue because we don't have a jb kernel or it's source from Acer. But I'm only making an educated guess lol and it could be numerous things like specific drivers for the gpu.

And I wasn't getting on to you I was just stating it out to everyone about speeds

All reports are appreciated of course, and thank you for taking the time to verify the performance in the benchmark, next time this occurs, could you see where the performance is dropping? It gives a breakdown at the bottom of the chart, such as cpu, io, etc. If one of those is abnormally low it'll some insight to what is lagging or being overwhelmed to cause the slowdown.
Another thing, I recall you saying you dirty flash, this could easily cause these kinds of issues, along with FCs and random reboots, crashes, lockups, etc. which is why I suggested the update method that I did, it will help with these issues.
If it happens again, and you want to benchmark and grab those numbers for me, then reboot into recovery, wipe cache and dalvik cache, and see if the issue returns I would appreciate it.
Edit: Also, an app like watchdog might show an app going rogue and consuming high CPU which will of course lag the system. If its occuring while overclocked, also undoing the overclock or undervolts and running just stock settings may help as well.
fixed the problem for now. hope it doesn't come back
i made my OC 1200 instead of 1400
fixed it temporarily
Edit: I change it to 1400. nothing happens. i reboot clear cache clear dalvik cache it starts lagging again.
before quadrant: 2967-almost Equally Split
After: laggy quadrant: 534 also almost equily split
Move back to 1200, clear cache clear dalvik still laggy 614 in quadrant
How do i take screenshots in jb. I am used to cm9 where there is a screen shot option in the power menu on my p500

This option isn't in AOSP so there is no built in way, however since it's rooted any screen shot app in the play store will do it.
Again I'll suggest leaving it at stock cpu and voltage settings. We're still using the ICS kernel which for the most part should work fine, however the kernel will still need work to be fully JB compatible, and doing things like overclocking will only make those issues much more apparent. If you have to overclock, I would suggest going back down to an ICS rom where the kernels are more stable and actually match the system.
Otherwise, write down the system breakdown scores, or take a screen shot, and we'll see where the low scores and maybe the lag is coming from.
anyone know if acer is bringing a jelly bean update to our beloved a100
that would be awesome(not that I would use it)

In the end, I personally say no. They just released ICS not that long ago, and they have the Ax1x models coming out, they would gain priority in updates over us. Most devices will get 1 major update, ie froyo>gingerbread HC>ICS ICS>JB.
We got ours already, so I really wouldn't expect it for us. The new models, certainly I would think they would get JB, and from there maybe we can get bits we need, but I wouldn't make any promises on that.
I know that eta s aren't allowed but will camera and face unlock be fixed in the next update?
