Default [Q] Motorola Milestone without 1800 baseband

Hello guys,
I have a motorola milestone from Brazil, and I used to have a chip from TIM working normally (at 1800 Mhz band). Until then, I was on cyanogenmod 7 but it was to laggy, then I tried to install Telus lite 5.2 rom (eclair). Till then, I canīt get anymore my chip from TIM working again. I put other chips (CLARO), and they work normally. I changed from androidani menu the baseband and tried others baseband fixers. I recover my nandroid backup and the problem remains. In fact, my question is: Is it a problem with my phone or with the operator? May I be blocked or something, once it says that this operator is unavailable, when I try to set manually from settings menu? Every other things on my phone are working perfectly, like wifi, gps, but with this operator, I canīt get registered. Anyone could, please, explain what could be happening?
Is it a technical problem, I see now that TIM (1800) or CLARO (900/1800) so maybe its working only at 900 band.. Is it possible or itīs a block from operator?
Thanks in advance for reading and awaiting a possible answer!!

At this point I if I were you I'd go into recovery wipe data, wipe cache, do a factory reset, and then flash back to the stock factory image.

I tried already shimp208. I deleted everything, all 3 wipes, but Iīm not getting to connect with RSD-lite. When I put in download mode, it appears as SF flash OMAP 3040 and I get flash bootloader, but the sbf files from stock rom from Brazil I didnīt get, cause the button "start" appears gray. When with the phone turned on, I can get MTP driver from motorola, so I thing itīs not being recognized by RSD-lite. Any other suggestion?? Pleasseeee?? Thanks in advance!!!

Are you falshing the SBF on windows or linux? I'd try using linux if your currently using Windows and see if that helps at all. Sometimes SBF on windows can be quite stubborn.

Edit:

Just stumbled across this that might help:

I made it shimp, through windows.. I installed sbf from stock thank God, but, anyway, Im only working at 900 gsm band, I suppose. I would glad to know if its an issue from my phone that get locked to this baseband (900) or if it was blocked by operators to work with their bands (850 and 1800).. Do u know if there's some zip to get radio reinstalled or something? Thanks in advance!

Yup definitely think it could fix your radio problem because its a factory image wich should contain the appropriate baseband radio's to fix your problem. But like you said let me know how it goes.
