Like I told the other guys, when you start to build a new thread there are suggestions for existing threads. Meaning, you didn't search, you didn't read the suggestions, you didn't so much as look on the forum period.

If the device is rooted why are there no custom roms for the verizon s3? What am I missing, does it have to be unlocked also?

Very few people have this phone right now. The date for in store sales keeps getting pushed back, and even a lot of pre order dates are getting pushed back. Wait till the phone is more widely available so devs can get their hands on it.

Is the phone released officially? Nope. Do most dev's even have it yet? Nope. Do dev's build ROM's overnight with a phone they don't have access to? Nope. Chill out!

As far as we all know the bootloader is locked. But with the developer phone comng out soon and all the devs pissed at verizon tor having it locked it will get unlocked. I have faith in the devs

That's what I thought, but his signature says Verizon S3 unlocked and rooted O_o

Too bad the dev phone is $600 and I "heard" that phone insurance will not be an option for the dev phone.
