as mentioned by rurou in this post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...6&postcount=21), Huawei relased the ICS sources for the MediaPad:

@goro_ Hi Anggoro, there are currently no plans to upgrade the Huawei MediaPad to 4.1, but we will let you know if this changes.

There is a new link for the source code on Huawei's website as of February 5.
Unfortunately, the description does not help me to understand what is the difference to those files from July last year.
Seems still ICS though.
