Default Battery Cover hairline cracks.

Is anybody having problems with hairline cracks on the battery cover. I have noticed that there are several hairline cracks in my battery cover. White. It's really hard to see but there are several hairline cracks in the coating not all the way through the plastic. Not to concerned because I ordered a replacement a couple of weeks ago just to be on the safe side. Just thought I would ask if anyone has this problem. You have to look closely expecially around the camera hole. Easier to spot on the white.

Same here, but I'm not sure if it happened when I dropped it underneath the car seat.

There have been many complaints in Taiwan on mobile01.com from the battery cover cracking.... Its actually not the cover itself but the paint on the surface, happens on both white and blue.... u can only see in certain lighting and angles. It seems to happen if you flex the cover too much when u take it off... My way around this is to use a credit card to go around the edges to remove the cover instead of peeling it back

I'll dig the instructions out when I get the chance and look but just wondering if Samsung have covered their own arses by giving you some warning or guide for removing cover.

Yeah, I have a crack between the headphone hole and the loud speaker, and it is causing the top right corner not to clip into the body properly. I have ordered a replacement back cover.
Current devices-

HTC One (ROM: Stock), Nexus 7 (ROM: Stock)

Old devices-

Samsung Galaxy SIII (ROM: Stock Vodafone), HTC Sensation (ROM: Android Revolution HD), HTC HD2 (ROM: TyphooN CyanogenMod 7), HTC Touch Diamond

Yeah i noticed this too, I was bending the battery cover and this cased hairline cracks on the gloss paint on the outside of the battery cover. the plastic itself is fine, since its the same as the s2 cover which could literally be folded in half and go back to normal. but then again the black s2 cover didn't have any paint.

so bottom line is: the plastic of the battery cover is very flexible, but the gloss paint isn't and that's what cracks!

My laminate on the back panel started to peel so I sent the cover back for replacement (have a naked S III for a few days). Also the grip to putt it off at the top cracked.
