Default How to enable 3G on TMobile AWS 1700MHz for ATT Galaxy S3 i747

Thanks to TMOKIETH: i747 ATT version is now working on AWS 3G T-Mobile: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...5#post40121505.

Please let me know if there are any more mirrors, or if a mirror stops working. Download files & Instructions from.

Please send your bounties/donations/thanks/candies to TMOKIETH @ krwusa@gmail.com. Without him, this wouldn't be possible.

Canadian S3 i747M is NOT working permanently on AWS 3G at this time. Changes are lost on restart. Kind of like a tethered iPhone. If you would like to try it, please see: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=197

I'm just curious. What is the advantage of having 3g on that frequency? Better reception and service?

Thanks

So you can use it on t mobile.

My question is, why not just buy a T-Mobile version if that's what you need. :scratches head:

Who said this was even possible? For all we know, these frequencies are disabled in hardware.

That's assuming it'll be possible to use tmo without being a tmo subscriber.
