You may need to push it to system/app, change permissions to rw-r--r--, and set owner to root with root explorer or adb, something like that. Had to do this for the stock mms app cause it was a system app.

sorry to revive the topic.. but i really love the HTC one X stock music player. so.. i have a samsung galaxy S2 rooted and i wish know if theres a way to install this app ?? can someone explain to me ? thanks.
