You do know that you can get a refund from the Play store for most games/apps (usually within 15 minutes at least), right?

DONATE TO ME
15 minute refund window isn't much when you often have to download several hundred MB or even a few GB, usually from horribly slow servers. Goodbye refund!

That 15 minute refund window is just stupid. Google should've at LEAST kept it at one hour.

Actually, I thought that the 15 minutes window didn't start until after the app was actually completely downloaded and installed (could be wrong though). Regardless, at least there is a refund window - it's better than not having a refund window at all (such as Apples iOS)!

Even if you decide that you didn't like a specific app/game after 60 minutes (or more), I've never heard of a developer denying a refund if you simply ask them via email (withing a reasonable timeframe).

I've personally used the refund feature of the Play store many times - I think it's a *very* useful feature!

I used the refund option quite a few times as well but I thought the Window started as soon as the download started... Not sure now anymore though.

If you are a fan of RPGs and enjoy the "top down" POV, I have to recommend The Bard's Tale. The interface is simple to learn, the graphics are gorgeous on our Infinity screens, and the game is fun. Oh, it also comes with three ports of old versions of the game (one is released now, the others to come...I havent touched those yet). I paid 5.95 US and still feel that this is a pretty good deal.

Make sure you have Wi-fi because the download is huge (3.5 GB for the HD version which I recommend), and it helps to turn the Infinity to Performance Mode when playing..
If this was helpful, "thanks" is appreciated!

I just bought the game. The first download is only 14MB or so. When that is installed the timer starts. Obviously I'm not going to have downloaded a 3.5GB game and then play test it in order to make up my mind for the 15 minute refund window. So yes, you were wrong, and I hope I actually like the game.

I've listened to your advice and I have bought the Bard's Tale. That's funny because when I was a teen, I always wanted to have that game but I couldn't because it was only on Apple computers (too expensive for me at that time). Now I own that game, at last dream comes true

I have started playing during 30mn and I woul say that the graphics are very nice, role-playing is very standard (it was a revolution in the 80s, not now) but the fun of the dialogs is very good, when I play i'm looking for the next funny words !

When I put the resolution and all the graphics on max for that game, it gets very very choppy during intensive scenes. For example, the first big rat spouting fire makes the whole game lag. Is this normal? What graphics settings do you people play with? I have the HD version (3.5GB) of the game of course.
