Default Hot pocket...

What are you guys averaging in battery heat? Mine hasn't dropped below 90 degrees f (only 1 day in) and has gotten as high as 102. I know it takes a lil time for things to settle in, but yeesh...

I took the red pill... It's the mAtrix for me...

My phone gets HOT simply staying in the pocket. It drains the battery very very quickly. I get about 4-5 hours max.

Anyone have suggestions? Phone is great other than the battery life.

Mine averages at about 72 - 78°f underclocked at 1.2GHz. I figured that if overclocking my old Atrix 4G to 1.45GHz caused it to overheat then the 1.5GHz would cause some heating problems. Underclocking on ICS makes the phone really sluggish but on jellybean 1.2GHz is still as smooth as 1.5GHz as well as saving on battery. Turning up the powersave bias for the ondemand governor makes scaling more battery friendly as well as helping with heating issues by not making the phone run at the max frequency constantly.

I've tried a multitude of apps but, as always, SetCPU seems to work best for me. System tuner is another good one but I'm not sure how to enable the powersave bias on it.. From what I've seen, 0 is off and 1 is on for the powersave bias, but system tuner only goes up in 5's..
