Default [REQ] Genie widget/stock news and weather

I miss the stock news and weather app on the n7. Anyone know what all I would need to pull from a stock rom or from CM10? Thanks.

I copied the Genie .apk from my Droid X to my generic ICS 4.0.3 tablet, and it worked.

I'm your right-hand man but my schemes are left handed. I've got the world on my shoulders, a monkey on my back, my head in the clouds, and my ear to the ground. I've got stars in my eyes, my eyes on the prize, and my nose to the grindstone. A baby face, a glass jaw, a dirty mouth, a harelip, a silver tongue, and a deep throat. I'm long in the tooth and my hairline is receding. I gotta get this off my chest. I can't stomach it when my gut feeling is wrong.

Posted this in another thread, but this one works fine on the N7.

That said, the Google service seems to be down, has been down all day for me, on all my devices, which span Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, ICS, and Jellybean.

Mine started working again this morning, having been down for most of yesterday.

Works good just can't get into the setting to change anything or customize my feeds. I though the galaxy nexus didn't have a physical menu key, I figured it would trigger the on screen menu key automatically.

Works well, but is there any way to make the widget bigger? Looks kinda small on the N7 home screen.

If you use Apex or another 3rd party launcher you can re-size it. Sadly, the JB launcher isn't quite as versatile as the 3rd party ones when it comes to resizing widgets, I believe it relies on the widget itself to tell it what sizes it can be and if that information is lacking in older widgets, she no resize.
