Default Cant mount sdcard

I have a semi bricked nook color. It will boot to the "n" screen on its own and no further. I can also boot into CWR or cyanoboot 5.5.0.4 from an sdcard but i can't mount the sdcard to install zip files to restore to factory. 8 failed boots does nothing for it either or a factory reset.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

We've been through this before, but just so I understand. If you copy the zip to the CWM card with the SD in your PC, and then you boot with the SD in the nook, it boots to CWM, and you can use the 'install zip from SD' option. But when you go further to choose the zip from SD, it finds nothing?

That is so weird. And you can see the install zip is properly copied to the SD when you take the SD out of the PC and re-insert it back into the PC? Sometimes the PC goes through the process of copying and it looks like it is there, but when you take it out and put it back, it's missing.

You said before you had adb working. Can you look at a file in /cache? That is partition 7. The file to look for is /cache/recovery/last_log. See if you can pull that and look at it. It is a log of everything CWM is doing, including errors that happen.

That is weird. It is finding emmc, but not sdcard. It is finding the backup you put on emmc. And you are not able to push install zips to emmc (p8) with adb? Or if you can CWM is not seeing them when you choose 'install zip from internal sdcard'.
