Default Favorite keyboard app

I must say I enjoy using thumb keyboard for the customization.
What are you guys using

You can customize it so if you have longer fingers you can push the keys out to the default. I have small hands so I had to close it in some

Thumb Keyboard for me. I've had it since my Nook Color and have enjoyed it on phones, the NC, and now the N7.

Yes I too am using thumb keyboard. It makes a lot of sense especially on these bigger screens. I don't get how people type on an ipad.

On my XOOM, because of the size, I preferred SwiftKey Tablet and I would use the split key option. I the N7 I like A.I. Type Keyboard. Because its not as wide it works great in both portrait and landscape.

You can split the keyboard on the iPad like the first screenshot above.
Back to the topic, I used to like Swype on the Android phones because I can then type (swipe) with one hand. But on the 5 inch and now 7 inch devices, I'm looking at an alternative. Thanks for the screenshots above I'll try out the thumb keyboard.

How does SwiftKey 3 Tablet differ from SwiftKey 3? I have SK3 on my N7 and I can't say that the typing experience is very good, but I love it on my GN.

Both versions of swiftkey are buggy on the nexus 7. For whatever reason touch responsiveness differs when using them to the point where one has to be extra careful while typing making it less efficient than on phones. The worst part is when trying to type in a Google search field in chrome and swiftkey and Google's auto fill seem to engage in a fierce battle of predictions leaving you wanting to throw the damn tablet against a wall. Backspace inputs become a fruitless exercise eventually leading to you just starting all over again.

I really like swiftkey on my HTC one x, so hopefully they will sort these things out on the nexus 7.
