Is the split mms.apk just the apk from 4.0 or is it actually compiled from up-to-date 4.1.1 source with the added split option? Also, would you be willing to do a dialer with built in T9 dialing based off of the 4.1.1 source?

I just can't bring myself to use apps not based off the build I'm actually running, ya know?

Yes MMS is 4.1 jellybean. Dialers are not included in gapps.

I heard right. I just tested the stand alone split MMS package and previews do not work.

Also, MMS isn't included in gapps either, so I'm not entirely sure why you brought that up before concerning the dialer.

Well the guy above me is a liar (Trolling? Fanboy? Not sure) because I pulled apart the stand alone apk and the apk from the 5.5 package and they are clearly compiled from 4.0.4, which means they can't possibly have the preview functionality, period.

I think the apk should be properly built off of the most current source if it's going to be included in a gapps packaged based on/for 4.1.1.

Just my opinion.

What you just showed isn't possible because the apk included is compiled from 4.0.4.

Check the manifest for yourself.

Unless you're using the no split version, which of course isn't what I'm talking about, if you bothered to read.
