Hey guys,

I wonder if any of you had the chance to try Marine&Lakes with your Nexus 7?
I'm not sure if it's working well or not. GP say it's not compatible with 4.1.1 but it should since it's working on 4.0.

Also, do you think it would be possible, with the new offline map feature from Google, to use this as overlay?

I have a coworker who isn't sure if he should buy a Nexus 7 + Navionics or a marine GPS. So feel free to share your
experience with Navionics in general, as it could be useful for me and my coworker!

Thank you and have a nice day!

Got no time for navionics they updated their marine apps from 5.3 to 2 but not before pulling the previous versions versions from the market and expecting everyone to pay again.
Given that your friend is looking to use it in a fairly critical role of marine navigation I certainly wouldn't recommend that it be his main device perhaps as a backup but not as primary.
