I was a week on vacation so I have to get up to date again. Before my vacation I had succesfully compiled the kernel sources initially provided by acer ( https://github.com/TauNeutrino/andro...casso_m_kernel). I also managed to build the grouper config from JB AOSP (Nexus 7 - also a T3 device). My thought was to use the AOSP grouper config as starting point and merge the A510 /A700 specific sources into it. I had not the courage to try anything out on the live system though - not as long as I have no fallback strategy.
I also had some fun with the Tegra APX mode (NVFlash -> would make our device unbrickable) but the CPU is in secure mode and therefore the key is needed in order to flash anything to it. I had a chat with Acer about this topic but european support will not provide anything. The other support locationes "are not responsible" for me. So I got stuck there.
