Not in this case...
I always do the clean install, but do I really need to do a complete format & lose all my apps, pics & music? I'm trying to keep it up to date, but i dont see doing a full format every time you post an upgrade?

You can format system, cache, and dalvick without formatting data. Its usually what I do when updating. With so many changes to the framework in these updates its a good idea to format the system.

I see you ported 14. Do you suggest I do a complete format of my system, start from scratch?

Thanx my friend. I wasnt sure if it was meant that I have to format the complete system/data. I don't believe in dirty flashes. Every time I do a complete format system and cache/dalvick wipe when I try a new update. It's a bitch getting my apps and such set back up all my crap each time I update lol. I don't mind though, for me it's the only way for me to play with a new ROM the right way. I've been using this AOKP rom since July. Ive run nothing else since. That's why I send any errors I run across. I'll get that LogCat to ya next time, when I get to play with this upgrade.

Tablet UI is a WIP... here are the directions. I think the AOKP team is going to make changing dpi apart of ROMControl to make it easier. I think tomorrow's build should contain the update. However, in the mean time, if you want to test the tablet UI, here is what you do:

1) Go to ROM control -> General UI -> Enable tablet UI
2) Open Root explorer (or whichever one you use, I use ES explorer) and browse to you build.prop located in the root of /system folder
3) Open it up and look for a line ro.sf.lcd_density=320
4) Change 320 to whichever dpi you want. (Default tablet dpi is 160 - I find that this is too small. 200-210 is probably the best you will get. But you should play with it and see which is best for you)
5) Reboot
6) Have FUN!!!
Does the 9/14 build have the dpi update in ROM Control?

I decided to wipe and start over with last night's build. Running Franco 250 this ROM is kicking ass.

Thanks!

Aokp backup has not been brought back from ICS just yet.

Also, I have ported over Sprint Diagnostic from EOS since I use PRL manager on a regular basis. Thanks to BigRushDog for allowing me to include this in the ROM. Have fun guys. Update will be uploaded shortly.

Erhh..take that back, I was waiting for that commit to be more stable before picking. It will be in tonight. A new patchset was pushed last night
