Prompt [TOOL] ADB Toolkit v1.5.8 *20140414* - Driver Support For All Devices Rooting Gapps

Disclaimer: You may copy, modify, and/or distribute this package as you see fit. Some third party vendors may not allow for altering files.

This has been designed for all user types from beginner to advanced. Its ultimate goal is to semi-automate all aspects of flashing, rooting, and general hacking for all devices, rid the need to remember ADB Commands, Fastboot Commands, etc, and provide a steady, "always-on" web link to grab content from (adbtoolkit.com) when needed from both the command interface and the GUI interface. Currently there is only menu support for Windows and Linux. It will eventually support all major platforms, including MacOSX, and of course Native Android

ADB Toolkit Info

** ALL FILES HAVE BEEN SCANNED WITH MICROSOFT SECURITY ESSENTIALS USING LATEST DEFINITIONS **

Currently uploading lots of files to the server. If there are any files that anyone feels need removed, please contact me at: esc0rtd3w@adbtoolkit.com

I have been using this on a daily basis to do many common tasks that are normally tedious, fixing problems and updating along the way.

I have scoured the inter-webs, frantically downloading, unpacking, and organizing device drivers, then sorting by manufacturer.

Most of the files currently included for rooting and recovery are from other users and are in their original form.

Many of the common files (adb.exe, aapt.exe, AdbWinApi.dll, AdbWinUsbApi.dll, etc) will be merged in the future to save space and be more efficient.

I will continue to update as much as I can and add support for more devices in future releases.

This is labeled "ADB Toolkit", but has support for much more than just strictly the Android Debug Bridge.

** For a full documentation see "/readme/history.txt" located inside the ADB Toolkit archive **

*** ALL REMOVED FILES ARE STILL MIRRORED ON ADBTOOLKIT.COM ***

Removed "/bin/firmware/" directory. This was not being used
and is basically replaced by the "/bin/roms/" folder, which
is also only mirrored on adbtoolkit.com and not stored in
the toolkit locally, because of obvious filesize issues.

Removed "/bin/radios/" and "/bin/ril" directories for the
same reasons as stated above for the "/bin/firmware/" folder.

Updated and re-organized all archives in "/bin/flashing/".

Added "csv2vcard", "csv2vcf", and "vcf2csv" to "/bin/files/".

Added "apple" and "wphone" folders to "/bin/".

Added "usbview" for Windows and Linux to "/bin/files/".

Added "NaviFirm+" 1.7 and 3.2 to "/bin/wphone/flashing/".

---------------------------------------------------------
GUI Updates (Windows):
---------------------------------------------------------

Updated GUI to v0.1.4.

Fixed "Exit" command under File menu.

Removed "Change Mode" from toolbar.

Added "Device" under toolbar.

Added "Check Status" and "Retrieve Info" to Device on toolbar.

Removed "Build" option from "Device Info".

Added "More Info" button to "Device Info".

Fixed dynamic paths for bin, gui, and temp directories.

Re-Added "Change Mode" to toolbar. This time it is just called
"Mode" and is being used to switch between Android, IOS, and
Windows Phone. Support for other operating systems may be
available in a future update.

Updated some global text and messagebox default text.

Added "Upload Files" to tabs.

Starting with "build 20120910" there will be a GUI included. Very limited currently, but will improve as time moves on.
Currently Supports Windows Only. dotNET Framework is needed for GUI only!

I will be posting all of my compiled driver packs here.

As I update them I will simply upload and replace the old files, leaving the links to remain static.

** FOR THOSE HAVING TROUBLES INSTALLING DRIVERS PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR GENERIC INSTALLATION **

This guide is based off Windows Vista and 7, therefore if you have Windows XP, then some of the steps will be slightly different.

1) Mount or burn Driverpack ISO.

2) Connect Device.

3) Right-click "Computer" icon and click "Properties".

4) Click "Device Manager" on the left panel. << XP should be Hardware -> Device Manager

5) Find your device (will have a yellow exclamation or similar) and double-click on it (do this for all found devices).

6) Click "Update Driver"

7) Click "Browse My Computer for Driver Software".

8) Click "Browse" and select the mounted or burned drive letter (be sure "Include Sub Folders" is selected").

8a) Make sure "CD-ROM" is selected for a location or search (Windows XP??).

9) Let it search and find the appropriate driver for your device.

Your device should now show up as an ADB Interface

I am aware that some devices seem to require things like MotoHelper, HTC Sync, Samsung Kies, and other applications to get things working properly.

I will add these items in a portable form to the driverpacks as I get a chance to test them on different required devices.

In my personal testing, pretty much all devices work without these additional applications.

For the time being, you can refer to the links below to obtain the original installers and additional software, if needed.

I will be posting all my nightly builds here. I will not always post a new update every day, but I will try to keep current builds live as I build them. I will only be using RAR compression for nightlies because of the smaller file sizes.

These builds should be considered test versions and you should not download them unless you are aware that there might be some problems during their use. Generally speaking, these builds should be fine to use on a day to day basis, but I take no responsibility for blah, blah, blah [insert standard disclaimer here].

There is currently support for all platforms. The menu ONLY runs on Windows for now, but will be ported to all platforms eventually.

There are files for Linux and Mac included, located in "/bin/files.zip".

All these files are mirrored to adbtoolkit.com as well, here and here.
