My Car Dock with MicroUSB Charger

I have been using this since captivate days, fits perfect near the gear where I rest my hand and change folders and use gestures. I got a separate holder for GPS as well.

I got is from http://www.dealextreme.com/c/cellpho...ce-holders-704 but can't find the same piece, but they keep adding more

Nice setup you got there. I got a similar holder but it clips in the ac vent above the stereo. I like it a little higher, it seems easier to see when I'm driving.

i am currently making a USB/Audio out cable (testing for S3)
Micro usb trigering car dock mode allowing charging and audio out. (can make them for Home dock mode so you can stream pandora on wifi and charge at same time

then may make a few and sell them as i have a bunch of bulk micro usb connectors and 619k resistors and 832tc Epoxy (explosive Proof LOL)

i would just need more usb and stereo cables

How many people would want one PM me, so i can gauge interest

im thinking with time involved and testing ea and such low volume $25.00 Ea. (plus 2ish for shipping) made the way 2nd post (with that y cable vs a usb and audio cable)

www.fdcv1.com is my design (circuit board and casing and layout of all parts etc) and built in house (not best example of my work but most public)

How high can you extend the dock?

excellent item, fits perfectly and my samsung s3 fits perfectly without sliding, i really like this product.
