Car dock

Anyone has any luck finding a decent car dock for the Ion? I enjoyed using my Atrix for my car, but without a car dock, the option does not exist for my Ion.

I have used Arkon in the past with subpar results, so I would prefer something made for the Ion.

I'm trying to find a decent universal one so whichever phone I am using that day I can put it in the car dock.

This a Garmin Nuvi mount which was modified to fit a Samsung Captivate and I've used it since then for my Thrill and now my newly acquired Ion. You can find the thread in the Captivate section.

i found this to work quite nicely! The only thing about this is that you cant have it grip horizontally while using the air vent mount (I dont think it says in description but they also have a window mount attachment and a air vent mount) air vent mount is not very good in my opinion as it does not fit in some cars.

Does anyone know if Xperia S accessories can work for the Ion? I think I remember hearing that their dimension are pretty much identical, otherwise I will look into that Garmin dock

Made similar holders for my HTC Desire and SGS2.
There are instructions on the internet - http://goo.gl/jNjzi

With Desire it went perfectly. When I made same holder for SGS2 I purchased hard case which was too stiff and therefore it was a bit hard to take the phone out. Also suction pad of second Garmin mount had to be of lower quality because it stopped sucking on to the wind-shield.
If you are lucky with parts (Garmin mount and hard case) then you'll have excellent car colder for a very low price.

Now for my XS (which is yet to arrive) I'm thinking about universal Clingo car holder.

Anyone here has experience with them?
