Here in Sweden, only the Champagne model is available. It was the same with the Prime (the gray version was never released, and I doubt the gray Infinity will be either). So the issue might simply be shortage of cases. ASUS might be targeting different markets with different colors, at least primarily.

Mine is still processing

I ordered the 64 GB champagne Infinity from Amazon on July 16.

My delivery estimate is Tuesday August 7, 2012 - Tuesday August 28, 2012.

However, yesterday I contacted Amazon with a question about shipping charges on my order and in the email reply they said "I'll request a refund of $xx.xx to your credit card. However, since your order is currently being prepared for shipment, I don't want to make any changes that may cause a delay."

So I sure hope that comment about my order currently being prepared for shipping is accurate and Amazon will finally begin shipping champagne Infinity tablets.

I also noticed that for the longest time the product page indicated that they would be available within 1 to 2 months, and then for a brief period it said 3 to 6 weeks, but now it is back to 1 to 2 months. So if they got some in, it wasn't enough to meet the demand...

Does anyone else have any info regarding Amazon shipping the champagne Infinity tablets?


*Update: I just called Amazon and the person I spoke to could not see any info regarding my order other than what I could see online myself. So no conformation of it actually being prepared for shipment. I still have my fingers crossed though.

Yea I thought amazon would start shipping soon but they didn't so I decided to order the 32 from best buy.

Now the only thing I have to decide is whether or not to buy the prime dock, because I have a feeling I won't find the champagne tf700 dock in stock anywhere for a while. And apparently they're the exact same thing?
