I Just got my new Nexus 7 and I noticed there wasn't any stock deodexed roms so I decided to make my own. This is a stock android 4.1.1 with root, busybox, and a few extras.

Yes you can. Just wipe caches to be safe and always backup.

Yes you can but once you flash this ROM you will be rooted.

The only reason i mentioned rooting was because the toolkit didnt work for me. I want to root
