Yes you can...BUT you might run into some glitches. If you nandroid back you might be ok because you'll have the current kernel, but not knowing what the other stuff is doing in the new firmware it's possible things will get wonky.

Vin's working on a re-base of the ROM so you'd be able to get back eventually

How do you use usb tether? I wanna use it on my ps3! My cousin can tether using a ****ty cricket phone, I know the LTE can do it

I think you will be fine. If upon coming back to this rom you get any problems, you can always flash older firmware and be back to square one.
