anyone else get an error in the music player? says this file type cannot be played for all my music?
Yep, happened to me as well. Until I connected my bluetooth headset, then it worked. Didn't try wired headphones though.

Okay. Seems you still have whatever rom bits left from your last one.
Or you may not be running 4ext, which is needed to run this rom.
If its the first, then head into the recovery and wipe boot, system, cache, dalvik cache -if you need to preserve your data.
If you don't need to preserve your data, I strongly recommend doing the 'format all partitions (except sdcard)' option and then wipe dalvik cache.
If its the second, then give 4ext a try..
Same thing as above ^>^
Thanks for the info. Here's what I did:
I wiped cache, dalvik, factory data reset, Modified Super Wipe. Installed, booted, signed in to Google. Everything worked and had root. Restarted to recovery, restored data only from Android Revolution back up. Restarted. All worked fine (including wifi) except lost 3D boot animation (which is "eh" for me so long as phone works as should).
I am running Team Win Recovery and am partial to it. Flashing different recoveries makes me more nervous than flashing different ROM's. If I have any future problems, I will definitely give 4EXT a go.
Just an additional note. I think one of the issues I had was left over bits from the ROM as you mentioned and possibly having SuperSU and Super User both going. Not really sure how to explain it other than that, but, it's more of a gut feeling.
Can I dirty flash 2.4 over 2.3?
EDIT:
Only issue I notice, which seems to be the same on other ICS ROM's, when on voice calls, the screen doesn't seem to shut off properly, so basically, it sucks down the battery as the phone registers the screen being on the whole time I am speaking on the phone.

Current Devices:
Evo 3D, ENG HBOOT, S-OFF, ROM...Yes...
Other Devices Rooted:
Evo 4G (3 different ones)
Samsung Capitvate (Galaxy S)
Graveyard list:
iPhone 3G, crushed under car seat
Blackberry Curve, it's a Blackberry...
HTC Pure (Topaz), went through 5 in 11 months, thank you WM 6.5, nuff said
HTC Aria, broke screen
Also, with this ROM, my 4G signal has become non-existent. I had full bars at work after upgrading firmware and kernel, however, now only have one to no bars.

Yeah, it seems if you don't completely wipe everything including /data/, /boot/, /system/, /sd-ext/, /cache/, /dalvik-cache/ and /.android_secure/ my ROM seems to have hiccups..

Custom means I added a heavily integrated skin into the ROM.
Stock means I don't have anything custom skin wise; but all the tweaks my custom rom has.

I wish I had 4G to test.. I suggest trying to flash the kernel that came with the ROM via fastboot.
