None of this is mine, I used flashaholics to hellraise RootBOX for the i9100. I did not develop this rom so I can not provide much support for it.

Description

Vanilla RootBox is built straight from RootBox sources and always carries a very light installation with no extra/useless apps. This means, you can enjoy a pure Android experience combined with AOKP/CM features and some CM cherry-picks. Keep in mind Jelly Bean is only at the beginning stage of development and there will be minor bugs. Every RootBox releases are stable and always up to the challenge for a daily usage. I personally have a high standard when it comes to releases and this is why this project always meets the expectations of users. If you're wondering how this ROM differs from any other AOKP roms out there, I only have one thing to say: Try it yourself and choose the one that meets your requirements.

Recommended Installation Steps

Coming from another Custom ROM:

1. Wipe Data/Factory Reset (This does not affect your Internal/External storage)

2. Flash RootBox zip

3. Flash JB GAPPS

4. Wipe Dalvik Cache

5. Reboot


Coming from Stock Samsung ROM:

1. Root Phone - Get CWM Recovery (Refer to How to root your Samsung Galaxy S2)

2. Wipe Data/Factory Reset (This does not affect your Internal/External storage)

3. Flash RootBox zip

4. Flash JB GAPPS

5. Wipe Dalvik Cache

6. Reboot

Hopefully you confirmed with Bajee before hellraising his rom and posting it here.

Why do we need 2 threads on the same thing?? Like above...Does bajee know you ported his rom here????

The same ROM was posted already(as you know), so I thought he did, and RootBOX Roms are always hellraised for our device. I will try to get ahold of bajee.

Any Special Instructions for Flashing this one ? Also Which Modem and Kernel are you using or have tested to go with this ? I am Kinda Siyah Fan :P Do share your details of what you installed.

You should always check with the dev before posting a hellraised rom, I believe Fonso did check with Bajee but he also mentioned when he closed the thread that if anyone wants to hellraise he should ask Bajee first. I'm just giving you a heads up, so that there are no issues later.

Ah Awesome Successfully Installed

Installed the latest Gapps - 2012-07-26
And Latest Dream Kernel v3.2.9
And the Last Leaked Modem - i777-UCLE5

All Working fine , just missing Siyah for now , hope it will be updated to work with RootBox as well
