Lol... I know. You know, I bought a galaxy 3 for $100. Had it for about 3 months. Saw that I could get about $400 for it on eBay. Sold it. Put the Evo back on. Thing is the sg3 kicked a$$. It was fast... Big screen... But it wasn't $300 dollars better than the Evo. I'll miss it, but I'll just rock the og until the sg4 comes out. Lol

Right on. I could have jumped right on the S3, but I want a G Note 2, once the online price comes down more, and in the meantime, my OG is fine as is, until something that REALLY makes me want to trade in comes along

For anyone still using this (and you should be because this and deck's reloaded are probably the most functional roms available on the evo) I know there is a problem with ring tones and msg tones. The fix in the op did not work for me. But if you download "ringo" from play store all is well and ring tones work and stick. Enjoy.
