I understand how to flash a device as I've flashed the X10 a couple of times before but

U probably arent hitting the back button just rite. Try this method. Slide your finger up from the bottom of the phone across the white line and onto the button. Like a gesture swipe. Only stop and hold on the back button. Should work better. Hope that helps. Again I haven't actually flashed my ion yet so im unaware of the current procedure

Default Flashing Ion

Vol down = flashmode

Vol up = fastboot mode (Works oonly with unlocked bootloader and .img)

Vol down is the one you want to use for the flashtool and ICS firmware.

Default Fastboot

It's a flash tool that allows you to flash .img files to individual partitions.

My memory fails me, once the flashing is over should I disconnect my phone and reboot, or wait for it to do it by itself... its been sitting there for awhile. I tried to press the power putton a few times and it didnt work
