Default My only gripe about Sense 4.0.

I love Sense 4.0 and all the improvements HTC has done to it but...I spend about 75% of my time in landscape mode. If 4.0 had a landscape mode for the homescreen, I wouldn't even bother with third party launchers. I like it that much.

if you are rooted (and on a deodexed rom) you can flash my landscape rosie patch in the ukb thread

gotcha, sorry there arent any other options really then (for using rosie in landscape)

You could try "Ultimate Rotation Control" from the Google Play Store. I played with the free version a few minutes ago and you can lock "HTC Sense" in the Per App Settings as "Forced Auto". This then allows the home screen to auto rotate from portrait to landscape. No root needed.

Edit: You can turn of the notification icon, too.
