Review of the Anker Astro3 10,000mah
Got it Wednesday and charged it up full. My plan is to charge cycle it 3 times but being thats it's 10,000mah, its gonna take some time.
Its solid and well made considering China as the country of origin. It will recharge my skyrocket dead-to-full about 4.5 times. Its about the same size LxW as my skyrocket but about twice as thick. Its about 3 times as heavy I guess. 2 usb ports (one made for i-devices and one for samsung devices though my rocket charges off either). I can even power a usb fan off of it. Also has a dc out that will output 9v or 12v.
Only gripe is that it wont charge my thrive 10 which is more of a gripe with my thrive than the anker. The anker outputs 12vdc but the trhive requires 19vdc if Im reading the charger right. I tried several different way and the thrive never recognized it as a power supply.
Overall, Im very pleased with it for 50 bucks
Just bought this bad boy...got pretty good reviews and $60 for 10000mah (really only about 7500-8000 usable mah) I dont think I'll go wrong but just wondering if anyone else had experience with these:
