Default colored back and setting buttons

Is there a way that a dev can produce a apk or zip that will allow the abilliity to change the colors of the back and setting buttons of the GS3? Not sure if this has been discussed before or even a thread for this topic.. Just wanted to be able to change the color and use something other than white.

It's hardware wise you can't do it unless you take the phone apart. If we were able to do it on the vibrant then we would already have the option on the siii

The blacklight is white and only white unless you open it up like the guy above me said and paint it with a marker or weld a different led. I've seen it done on HTC amaze

Question why would you want the light on? We all know where they are and what function it does, it's not like every time the screen goes on it will change the function

I used to think the same thing till my gf used my phone and asked how to go back lol. I have it on for 6 seconds now so she doesnt get confused. Samsung really did a good job hiding the buttons when its not lit.

But to the OP...ya cant do it unless you open it up and color it or put a colored film on top the LED.
