Something that may or may not be happening to others; When hooking up to HDMI, Netflix videos will not go fullscreen, meaning the ICS system bar is visible on all videos I play on my TV through Netflix. I'm on stock ICS with the 1.7 wifi kernel.

Hi AAcount. I have to say your kernel is amazing! Especially the GPU over clock just makes some things noticibly faster.

One question though. I know quadrant scores don't mean anything (even though on stock HC I had a score of about 2200 & now it's 3300) but according to Quadrants standard little grapphy thing, their Galaxy tab 10.1 has a IO score in the range of 5000 whereas I only get 3000. Any idea why this is, is there potentially a faster io scheduler or are they just talking BS. In any case I love your work!

I updated kernel from previous version I've been using it for two days had table plugged into my laptop was transferring file when I finish i left it plugged into laptop when I heard it restart when I unplugged it I noticed it was frozen so I restarted by holding down power button when it restarted it froze again at the lock screen so I tried restarting in recovery and it wouldn't respond I left the tablet off for a while and tried again to get into recovery and I was able to and reverted back to a back up with previous kernel and the tablet is back to normal has anyone had a similar problem

I don't have Netflix or an HDTV let alone HDMI so i can't test that. Sorry.

I also can't verify the mtp USB file transfer issue since mtp doesn't play well with Linux. I usually use FTP or adb push and those always work for me.

Wish I could be more helpful.

Check io scheduler, changing it will give you different io scores. Cfq will give you very diffeent results than sio.

Nice work AA I am new to your kernel, but it looks very good. One question. Which app should I use for gpu overclocking?

Im using no frills and it only gives me the option of noop, cfq and deadline. I've tried benchmarking by changing only one io scheduler at a time and they all give the same approximate results (cfq gives a tinnnny bit higher)

@Nash123

I'm pretty sure the GPU oc is built in. ie there is no need for any app

Hello AAccount,

I try your kernel with my own ROM (Ganbarou GT-P7500). The latest version (not yet release) of the ROM is running fine on Pershoots latest 3.1 kernel. But when I flash you kernel I got stuck at the white "Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1" logo. no more boot after that. Couldn't do a log yet, but do you have any idea where to start?

I flashed Stock 3G kernel than your A1-p4-1.7-3G kernel. When I revert to Pershoots kernel it boots just fine.

Try using v1.6.4. I'm taking down v1.7 because of several stability complaints.
