Question US Tab not Updating?

I've got a wifi-only USA 10.1 Galaxy Tablet and it won't update. It says no update available. Is this true, or am I missing something?

I am in VA and the minute I plugged the tablet to my laptop with KIES it notified me of a update. The upgrade went smoothly and everything is working perfectly.

Well at least I'm not the only one with an issue.

Thanks for the info. I was expecting an OTA I guess.

I can't get KIES to recognize my Tab. I plug it in, and it acts like it's trying to connect, but the media scanner on my Tab starts, crashes, and then the Tab connects via MTP.

I'm really confused, and I'm about to just download the ROM and work from there.

Download Samsung Kies from the Samsung website and connect your Tab to the computer. It should prompt you that a firmware update is available. While the update is being installed, your Tab will not show as being connected to Kies. Just wait until your device boots up again and disconnect. My device was the same way and didn't receive the OTA update right away.
