[Recovery] Unofficial CWM Recovery Touch v6.0.1.0 for u8800pro&u8800

CWMR Touch V6.0.1.0 with 3.0.8 kernel, adb work perfect, no need to reboot recovery for SD card mount.

Installation Instructions:
Unplug any usb connection and turn the phone completely off
Whilst holding both the volume + and volume - keys hold the power button to turn the device on. Let go when you see a pink/purple screen.
Attach the usb cable to your computer and wait until a few usb mass storage devices are detected and mounted. Look for one that has just one directory called 'image' in it. Navigate into this directory and you'll see recovery.img etc.
(optional) Rename recovery.img to recovery_backup.img
copy the new recovery.img to image, unmount the mass storage device (safely remove in windows) and then pull the battery out to turn the phone off.
Hold volume + and power to boot to recovery.
Install any custom rom

Working good on U8800

Up and Down symbols some times executing the selected command sometimes instead going Up or Down

I am the only dumbass here, or the bootloader on my orig. ICS is really locked, so I have no image folder on pinkscreen. I can access the folder via rootexplorer, but I have fear to replace the file. If the phone does not boot up after, I'll have a little problem. Bronxie, does it works on rooted original?

you are dumbass, this is for 2.3 baseband roms

This CWM is a new replacement of older 5.0.2.7 version.
If someone is using Stock ICS ROM downloaded from oficial site... this cwm is not for you!!! So why you are not using "ported" stock ics or custom rom based on ics flashable via cwm? Low in-call sound is fixed in B928 and modified roms based on this one.

P.S. Now working on some other interesting things. Thanks for not disturbing

gyankamp1: there is a tiny issue in this cwm, when phone off and charging, there's no battery charging animation, but abaut power on... don't know.

Edis: it should take you less then 5 min to find out you're self. Yes working.

Not for, but with.
CWM is a some kind of tiny operating system with build in kernel. ICS customs is based on GB Basebands and it doesn't matter you flash GB or ICS ROM's this CWM will work (don't know how it works on Eclair based ROMs).
Stock ICS ROMs downloaded from huawey site ad flashed via dload folder has bootloader signature verification if someone changes anything there, they will get soft brick!
Some users working on unlocking bootloader I hope they will sucsess, because for know they have done a big progress in that way.
