Finished downloading this, booted into recovery and did a full wipe. Here's my review of this ROM (as of 10-20-2012) :
Aroma Installer started up as it should. Installation completed successfully in a little less than 2 minutes. First boot
took a just under 4 minutes in total (3:58.22 to be exact), but the bootscreen was already present from the fifteenth
second. Installation wizard lagged a little (when scrolling through language options), but that was the only case.
Device connected to WiFi with no problems at all. Linked my Google and Facebook accounts to the phone during
the installation. There are a little graphical bugs here and there (statusbar) similar to what Virtuous Infinity Alpha1
had. App Drawer loads up really fast and the animations are smooth. All wallpapers scroll as supposed. Apps are
properly resized.
Stock browser is quite fast, although not as quick as on Sense 3.6. Pinch-to-zoom works extremely nicely. There is
a much needed "tabs" button on the top. All tweaks work properly, but the first time I tried to access statusbar tweaks,
it crashed. Since that I have had no problems. Call quality is OK but has a little metallic sound to it. Microphone works
in both calls and apps. Camera is working properly without glitches. Image quality is good. Fast Burst mode in camera
is not working (FC after 2 images), but the camera functions fast even without that feature. Video recording is working at
720p HD with focus and sound. Taking images while filming is not supported (but does not FC). Panorama mode is
working OK, although, had a few glitches.
Keyboard is fast and prediction works. USB-mount is working flawlessly and really quickly. Battery seems to last longer
than on other Sense 4.0/4.0A ROMs and has percentage displayed and a custom charging animation. Wireless tethering
works at full speed with no connection problems. Overclocking is possible with SetCPU (no O/C Daemon included).
Generally there is a very little lag in apps, sometimes some when scrolling or viewing menus. Regardless of that, this is by
far the smoothest Sense 4 ROM I have tested.
Here's a summary of things that I tested. Ask me if you want more details:
